Exams & Checkups

A comprehensive eye exam involves assessing the health and function of your eyes by performing various tests of your vision. Your comprehensive examination also includes the evaluation of your eye health in order to detect diseases that may be occurring in the eyes or elsewhere in the body.

At the conclusion of the examination the doctor will discuss your results, explain your prescription and the status of your ocular health.  The Mather Vision Group strives to exceed your expectations with the quality of our care, products, and services.

FAQ

Is caffeine bad for your eyes?
Caffeine can be a direct contributor to dry eyes and eye(lid) twitching.  A recent study found that caffeine can increase eye pressure on those with glaucoma or high eye pressures but had little or no effect on those with “normal” pressures.  Limiting or removing caffeine may help if any of the above are an issue.
