Born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana. Dr. Mather has practiced eye care in the greater Lafayette area since 1981. He knows this community well, and is committed to serving the people of this area with the best in current eye care practices.
Dr. Mather completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Indiana University in 1997; obtained his Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University in 1981. In August of that same year, Dr Mather began his solo-practice of Optometry in Greater Lafayette. When Dr. Robert Mather retired in 1993, Dr. Steven Mather integrated the two practices.
Dr. Mather is a 32 year member of the American Optometric Association and Indiana Optometric Association. He has cared for Veteran's eyes at the Indiana Veterans Home for seventeen years. Dr. Mather was the first optometrist in the area to fit Corneal Refractive contact lenses, to offer diagnostic laser scans of the retina, and "Quantifeye" macular pigment for macular degeneration.
While a member of The Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Mather initiated the Community Academic Recognition Award. He is a past board member of the Lyn Treece Boys and Girls Club. In 2007, was a co-chair of the Lafayette Heart Gala. Dr. Mather is still serves as secretary/treasurer of the Tippecanoe Cattleman's Association.
Dr. Mather is married and has 3 children. Outside the family his interest include: 4-H, German Shorthair Pointers(dogs), Hereford Cattle, Quarter Horses, agriculture.

Dr. Cutler was an electronics technician in the U.S. Navy and afterwards worked in the aerospace industry while attending college. A graduate of California State University San Bernardino he then attended Optometry school at Indiana University and graduated with honors.
Dr. Cutler is a board certified Optometrist with a strong background in eye pathology management and treatment. His diverse background and interests helps with building rapport with a wide variety of patients and understanding their needs outside of the clinical realm.
He is married with three children. In his spare time, he enjoys flying airplanes, kiteboarding, fitness and martial arts, and playing guitar with his band.

Jerry is one of the most experienced opticians around! he will assist you in choosing eyewear, ordering, adjusting, fitting, dispensing any frames and lenses. Jerry can also help trouble shoot and frame and lenses problems you may have.
He enjoys golf, bowling, and all sports and exercise in general. Jerry is married with 2 children and 3 grand children.

Denise is the first person you'll see when making a visit to the office, and it's most often her voice on the phone you will hear. She welcomes you and makes sure all your questions are answered. Thirty years in the secretarial field have given her top-notch organizational skills that she uses to schedule and process paperwork for all the practice's patients.
She is also trained to assist with the eye exam, visual field testing, and give contact lens instruction. If you have any questions at all, Denise will always be happy to assist you.
At home Denise has three children, Nichole, Jessica, and Blake. She enjoys interacting with people, cooking, and reading. She is also fond of outdoor activities, especially water sports.

Debbie has been working in the optical field since 1989, starting with Dr. Power in Frankfort. ABO certified in 2000, she works with patients to help them choose the best frames and lenses for their needs. She makes sure they know about the newest products available, and listens to their needs so they will get the best style and fit for their lifestyle.
Debbie has three children, Corina, Kelly, and Ryan, and two grand daughters, Robyn and Riley. She enjoys shopping, travel, and target shooting in her spare time.

Nancy is the one who helps you understand your bill and insurance provisions. She makes sure the practice's patients receive the full benefits to which they are entitled by their insurance carrier, and don't pay more than is necessary for their services. She's good at it too, after 16 years experience working in the health care industry and interfacing with Medicare and insurance providers.
Nancy also does the bookkeeping for the practice, doing accounts payable and receivable as well as balancing the checkbook and following up on insurance and Medicare claims.

Bryan has been an Optician in the Lafayette area for eight years. He enjoys the person to person contact and helping clients see and feel their best with their eyewear. In today's world there are so many lens options and frame innovations and styles, that is is Bryan's responsibility to filter these out so the client receives exactly what they desire and need.
Bryan has been married for 4 years to Talla, and has a bulldog "baby" and a cat "bama". They love to travel. He also enjoys coaching high school basketball and baseball for First Assembly Christian Academy. He and Talla are huge fans of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Jenna was born and raised in Lafayette, where she is a graduate of Harrison High School. She just recently started her journey in the optical field in October of 2007 and has loved every minute so far.
In her spare time from working she loves cooking, bowling, relaxing at the lake, catching up with her friends, and spending time with her two "girls", a corgi named Bell and a blue heeler named Princess.

Jennifer moved to Lafayette 18 years ago and has been with Mather Vision Group since August 2007. She has been married to her husband Paul for 13 years and has 3 children. Joey, Micah and Ruthie.
She has a passion for her friends and family. She has 2 dogs Martini, her 3lb Chihuahua, and Quinn an American Eskimo. Her hobbies include acting, cooking and she loves music.

Stacey has lived in Rossville for the last 36 years. She is married to Mark and has 2 children Sydney and Elijah. She has been with Mather Vision Group since November 2006.
Stacey's hobbies include traveling, reading, and boating with her family.
